Cheering for Xavier and Providence. It would be sweet to have the championship game here in Cincinnati.

I know the last two years the Big East Tournament was held at the Philadelphia Union stadium, what happened this year?

Incredible opportunity today - has anyone in any sport ever won on the road against #1, #2 AND #3 in the country? Xavier could accomplish that with a win at Georgetown today.

Has XU defeated Georgetown since entering the Big East?

Yes:

Xavier took the last postseason matchup between the two programs, winning 1-0 in the 2014 BIG EAST Semifinal on Friday, Nov. 14 at PPL Park (http://www.goxavier.com/news/2014/11/14/Brown_s_Game_Winner_Gets_Men_s_Soccer_Past_Georget own_1_0.aspx?path=msoc). Jalen Brown (http://goxavier.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=2957) took in a cross from Cory Brown (http://goxavier.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=2956) in the 64th minute, burying the game-winner and sending XU to its first-ever BIG EAST Championship match.

Tough to beat a team that good on the road. Hopefully we can manage a first round home game still.

Tough loss there, but hopefully it's a home game in the first round. I think they are as good as anyone right now in dry weather.

RPI of 47 though. Only thing that sucks is that the Big East was down this year except for Creighton and Georgetown, and the bad loss to Lipscomb, and Virginia Tech.

Crap, they take only 48 teams I think to the tournament. Did defeat #1 and #2 on the road. That should help out.

Yup, that's my logic as well, is that they have quality road wins, I think it's hard to leave out a team that defeated the #1 and #2 team in the course of a season, you should give them a chance to make a splash in the tournament. It'll be very interesting to see what happens on Monday, I think we get in, but not a sure fire home game.

Tulsa winning the American and FIU winning Conference-USA didn't help our cause much, but I still think we sneak in. It's going to be a stressful Monday for the Men's team, that's for sure.
