There was an article in today's Enquirer on the UC recruits and the fact that thety would be signing today. I feel that our three (to-date) recruits are solid, but I'll feel much better about it when Chris Mack has their Letters-of-Intent in hand.

Evan Daniels predicted IU. Brian Snow predicted Miami. Jeff Borzello predicted Xavier. It's all over the place but yes if I had to put money on it I'd guess IU.

If it's all made up, it becomes obvious over time which posters you can trust. You don't need to know sources to know posters' track records over time. No one is batting 1.000, but some have proven reliable in their info and overall trustworthiness. Now, if a new person pops up and starts saying stuff, I don't trust them until a known poster confirms it.

i dont see the big deal if a guy says garbage on here about a rumor who cares? I read for some info but mainly for entertainment purposes. I occasionally give my opinions on here which usually get blasted but I hope some of those comments entertain you as much as yours entertain me. I have zero credible sources except my own two eyes and what I see on the court lol

People like to think they have some super secret source to all things Xavier basketball. I know a couple people who fill me in on things, most aren't XU related. In the end it's all in good fun. Some people on here just take it far too seriously.

Having lived in the world where sources are life blood for 40+ years, I may know a little about sources. Trust is key because your job and your family's future may be at stake and often is. This is a chatroom and no one has a future at stake, only egos. Believe me in this day and age of instant everything, why worry about so-called scoops.

Their LOIs were close to inevitable, but the nice thing about them is now Mack can talk about what they bring to the table. Before, it would be a recruiting violation.

Being just a short drive from Taylor co. I've had a chance to watch Goodin in person. He was listed as the PG but did everything. His quickness isn't like Sumner, more like Abell. He doesn't jump out of the gym like a couple of our guys but when he got in open court, he threw it down hard. I was surprised how fast he is for a kid that has a big body. I would call his baseline to baseline speed elite. I would also describe his size and strength for a PG as elite. If I didn't know better and someone had said, "That Goodin kid is signed to play tight end at UK." I wouldn't be surprised because of his build. He's the best player in Ky and I've heard some bit***ng on UK talk radio and social media about Cal not bothering to offer him a scholarship. Louisville offered.

Well on the KRN call shows it's more about Cal not seeming to care much about in state players even if they are 4 star stud recruits. I'm not gonna dive too far in cause this board isn't about UK basketball. I'm just glad we got him cause no matter what amount of stars, he will hold his own against any of them.

Yeah, it's weird how so many college basketball fans want their team to show loyalty to the local talent, even if the team can get someone better. Xavier could put together a team composed entirely of California natives, for all I care.
