@JonRothstein: Oklahoma, Xavier, Missouri, UNI, Clemson, Tulane, ASU, & Davidson are in 2016 Puerto Rico Shootout, source told @CBSSports. Matchups TBD.
Just saw this tweet from Rothstein. Assuming this bit is credible, we'll be playing in a known tournament vs decent competition come next year.

We won that tournament in 2008. 3 very good and entertaining games for Xavier in that one, as well as a couple legit wins.

These are probably going to be the matchups, or maybe 2 teams switched around from what I have here.

Oklahoma and Davidson are 2 other decent teams in the field - not sure if Northern Iowa will be reloaded by then or not. Ditto for Arizona State and Mizzou.

Its a pretty average field. Oklahoma and Davidson are good, Arizona State could be good, depending on how quickly Hurley gets them going.

Missouri may be ok by then. Hopefully they get to .500 this year and then next year take another step forward.

It would be nice to play well in one of these tournaments every once in a while..

Not sure how good Oklahoma will be next year. Hield and at least a few other core players are seniors this year I believe.
Arizona State could be a matchup against Torian Graham. You know, if he actually stays at a school for more than 1 season. I expect Hurley to have them respectable by next season though.
Definitely on paper a tourney I think we will be favored to win next year but we all know how our exempt tourney appearances go...
