Which player below made preseason first team all-conference, while the other didn't make second team?
These two guys are roughly similar in height and could be matched against each other. Sometimes they play the same position.

I saw the list of first team all-conference players and nowhere did I see someone named Player A or Player B.

Yea, A is Trevon and B is First Team Preseason Big East, Roosevelt Jones. While Rosie appeared to have a big impact on Butler's success last year, and may be a defensive tiger, he measured well below Trevon in virtually all offensive categories other than assists. In fact, Rosie was below D-1 average performance in Offensive Rating, Effective Field Goal percent, Free Throw Percent, and Two Point Percentage. He didn't attempt any three pointers. Curious.

On offense, Jones is a point forward whose primary role is creating offense for others. His impact doesn't entirely show up in stats. He's a big reason why Butler's offense was actually decent this part season after being bad during his injury year.
