View Full Version : Can UD Fans Be Serious?

Over at UD Pride, there's a thread about next year for the Flyers. The consensus: the team will be better next year. Why?

* Chris Wright
* Marcus Johnson will be a star
* Charles Little will be solid
* The freshman are the most talented in the A10 (hmmm.....might want to tell the scouting services)
* Overall, the three lost starters (Roberts, Binnie, Sandoval) will be more than compensated for by the freshmen

I'm sorry, but really? Losing a 2000 point scorer? Having basically three new starters? London Warren as your starting point guard?

Their freshmen may be great. But I'd think that they would change their tune when this happens year after year. After all, Wright was good -- but what about the rest of that class? Searcy? Thomas? Those guys were going to add "depth"--instead they can't get off the pine.

jdm2000 this isn't directed at you per se, but I'm starting to wonder which fans are more obsessed? I realize we just played them, and maybe I'm exaggerating, but it seems like there are 400 Dayton threads on this forum.

Agreed. Let Dayton fans dream if they want to. They have that right. What do we care?

Sorry -- I was just checking out their board for their take on today's game and saw the thread....got a little riled when I read the "Wright and Johnson will be the two best players in the A10" comment.

Feel free to delete this thread if you'd like.

First, they have to keep whining about Burrell and get ready to celebrate Xavier losing even if it means that they will be NIT-bound. That's the best part - they live through St. Joe's just to see X lose.
