Steve Prohm would be a fantastic choice for LaTech. But with Cam Payne coming back, he's probably thinking that he can have another big year and get a bigger promotion than LaTech next spring.

Like I said, Prohm would be an excellent candidate for LaTech....

I think La Tech would be a great job for Steele where he can grow and learn to be a head coach then come back to Xavier to be a head coach and we can then feel better collectively about the hire since he lead his own program.

Louisiana Tech once again has just about everyone back from what was a good team a year ago. They should have no problem attracting good candidates.

With that said, I'm betting they completely blow this.

If Steele wants a better mid-major job, I'm sure Dayton will be open after next season.

I'm surprised that casualfan hasn't weighed in on this "breaking story".

"Sources" say that Archie Miller is the leading candidate.

LA Tech IS a step up from the dump.

There is low blow and hitting after the bell. Well this is both. :)

Exhale. Another bullet dodged.

"@GoodmanESPN: Louisiana Tech is expected to hire Miami assistant Eric Konkol, sources told ESPN."
