First let me say thank you from the bottom of my heart for all of the thoughts and prayers. They meant a lot to me and my family.
Surgery was a success from a technical viewpoint. They'd removed part of my colon, my appendix, and my cecum and fixed an umbilical hernia.
Unfortunately one lymph node came back malignant. The diagnosis is stage 3-A colon cancer. I'll start chemo in a few weeks and have an 89% chance to hit the five year mark. At that time I'd be declared cancer free. Not the best news but again it could have been worse.
So keep praying and I'll keep fighting
Thanks again.

You will do this and you will be fine.
Attack it with a positive mental attitude and a solid medical team.
God's speed. Prayers offered for the next phase.
Thanks for the update Bob. Keep up the fight brother.
