David West will have to go somewhere else to win that ring. He could fit in on the Spurs or the Cavs quite nicely. OTOH, Detroit could use a Power Forward, and Drummond provides the rim protection that West doesn't.

In my mind, he'd be crazy not to exercise his 12 million dollar option. That doesn't mean he'll be on the Pacers, but they'll have to trade him or cut him.
