View Full Version : Two Questions

I see where DSR is going pro and it leaves G-Town in a quandary. In WashPost comments following the story, the majority don't believe he will even get get drafted. One wag even posted: "Georgetown's loss is the D-League's gain."
His departure leads me to this question.
Are any other BE players coming out early, if so, who?
My second question is a request. I was given an i-Pad Air Apple which I really like, but I have been unable to create an app for XavierHoops. Going to the store it says "unavailable." Is there a secret way to place an app for XavierHoops or is such an app not applicable?
In advance, any help would be appreciated.
BTW, UK is 4-5 to win it all. Remember, "if you have the 4 you don't need the five."

Kris Dunn out of Providence would be one to watch if he does declare early (which he has not done yet). They've already announced that Tyler Harris will play his senior season elsewhere after graduating this spring (although that's not to be confused with declaring for the NBA draft).

I think what you're looking for is Tapatalk (https://tapatalk.com/), a forum app that hosts a lot of different sites. For example, in addition to "XavierHoops.com" under the Tapatalk app, I have "Westeros.org" for Game of Thrones. I never said I wasn't a geek.
When you download Tapatalk, you just need to create a profile. After that, you search for and add Xavier Hoops to your profile and it will always be one of the selections under your app. Whenever you go to the profile, look at the bottom; you will see a house for "Home," a magnifying glass for "Search," and a person for "Profile." Your best bet is to access Xavier Hoops through the Profile tab. I always view threads through the clock picture then, so that they're listed in the order of whatever is most recent.

DSR leaving early was a surprise. But it's a different era now - you don't necessarily need to get drafted to the NBA to justify leaving early if playing pro basketball is your ultimate goal. I know that's controversial and I understand the inevitable opposing argument, but every situation is different.

We need a better vocabulary than "decided to enter the NBA draft", like "has decided to play professionally"

Mucho Gratias for the Tapatalk instructions "Fan" and "BMO."
I will have my son (or granddaughters) fix me up.

Yes like when Martin left SMU mid year and they announcement was he was leaving to pursue a professional career and some people on here went nuts and were saying that would never happen. Yes the NBA would never happen but no one thought JMArt was going to the NBA, going pro means playing basketball for money somewhere.

I don't like the new ESPN home page. I hope it fits better on you guys' smart phones.

I always thought that the two questions were :
Where's the first tee? And
What's the course record?

I cheat to stay under the course record. Others do as well or the record would be much higher. Oh, you meant... lower... never mind.

Where's the nineteenth hole?

Fixed that for you.
