Oops, wait he didn't play for us did he! And not too successfully against us either!

A bit surprised by this. Don't see his draft stock being all that high if at all.

Don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.

Honestly, his stats have shown him to be trending downward, for lack of a better description. Chances are, he could do more harm than good to his status by staying another year. I definitely don't think his stock will rise significantly.

His advanced metrics between last year and this year are essentially the same and both really good. He just went from playing 88% of possible minutes to 82%, so raw per game numbers would he slightly lower. Your point about another year not helping still stands, though.
I wish he'd helped them to another tournament win or two. Or three.

As XU09 said his kenpom ratings are pretty much the same. eye test wise he also had to adjust to playing point guard this past year. He would've been fine another year. likely better stats.

I mean.....he won't even be a second rounder......
Just heard on Indy radio,DSR changed his mind and is heading back to GTown.

Feels he needs to improve on his 1-4 career mark against Xavier before making it in the NBA. It's possible he goes 1-2 against the X this year to improve his career winning percentage from .200 to .250 against X. That would be huge for him.

He TOTALLY wanted to play at X. He even produced his own "Were you there?! Did you hear?!" moment for Georgetown! Ha!
Seriously, this is good news for GTown and the Big East.
Makes me wonder who was in his ear before, and what turned him around. In the end, it's good for the BE and therefore good for us, so I'm glad he's staying. Unless he helps them beat us. Ever.

Overall good for the league. I will be mad however if he beats us next year.
