Wow, I am getting old. I was a senior in college, doesnt feel like I was in college that long ago. Before they had all the games on, had to go to a bar to get this game with a good buddy of mine who was also an XU fan. We had some douche bags cheering for WVU just because me and him were cheering so hard for X. That was a fantastic win, so satisfying. Didnt look good when Joe Alexander hit an and 1 down 2 with just seconds left and was an 80% something FT shooter. Thank goodness he missed it.

Joe Alexander- how long was he in the NBA? I think Portland drafted him. Sam Bowie part ll

I think it was the Bucks, and he was a high pick but never panned out.

Misconception is that Bowie was a bust because of a poor assessment of talent. Similar to Oden it was his injuries that did him in. Also didn't help that the greatest player to ever play the game was behind him.

Probably Alexander's missed free throw that would have given WVA the lead with mere seconds remaining vs. XU screwed with his head
