was also impressed by this season. Neal and staff did an excellent job with what they have. The key will be can X get some of those recruits like McGuff was able to land.

I agree with your quick analysis Cheesehead. Parity in Women's College Basketball is getting better but it's still not quite where the Men's game is so it'll be essential for Xavier to get some HIGH level recruits like McGuff did several times. Interestingly, McGuff is now back in Ohio probably making it a little harder for X to get some local talent.

Although, I'm pleased with this season and have still followed all year it's important to point out that the schedule was MUCH weaker than it's been in the past and the Big East was poor. We'll have to wait in see how these ladies do the next several years. They are a young team so that is encouraging, but again in the Women's game we need some 4 star recruits to really be competitive like we were from 1999-2010ish...
