Nothing in that article was incorrect. Villanova didn't play anyone in non con and the conference has their deficiencies. It's ok....we are still alive and in the end that's all that really matters. This is why xavier needs to schedule 1-2 games a year against elite teams even if we get killed, the team needs to know what it takes to compete against the best.

That's not correct, either. When they scheduled games, there was no way to know Michigan, VCU, and Syracuse would have lackluster seasons.

What's that have to do with what I said? It is true that nova didn't play anyone in the non con. Michigan and cuse didnt make the tournament...Syracuse wouldn't have probation or not, and vcu is a system who the good teams know how to beat. It's pretty easy to figure out before the season who the elite teams are going to be, it's not rocket science.

Look,

it can be argued whether the Big East was the 2nd best conference, but it is a certainty by any measure that it was one of the 5 best conferences along with the Big 12, ACC PAC 12 and Big 10. The league was going to get 6 teams in. The only question is whether the seedlings are correct, but that is always a dice roll and that's why there are always upsets.

No one has argued that there should not have been 6 Big East teams in. The unfortunate thing is that only one of us, US, has made the next weekend.

Haters will hate. Nothing you can do, but win basketball games, but even if you don't, it doesn't change the validity of the fact that this is a Top 5 league.

This article was written only to get people riled up, and I told the writer just that. What a hack. Anyone that watched Nova play saw they were elite. With all those shooters, it was hard to see so many of them going cold at the same time.

I think it's a bit unfair to simply dismiss the VCU & UofM wins. Those games were before injuries derailed both teams seasons. Virginia just got fairly easily dismissed by Michigan St. Does that mean the ACC is overrated? Of course not. Upsets happen. Matchups play a huge role.

I'm SO glad a majority of the Big East have a TON of talent coming back next year. Let's print out these headlines and put them in each teams locker rooms and gyms this summer. I have a feeling the Big East is going to come back with a vengence next year. But first, let's go slash the tires on a Lexus!
