When Mack got the team to the tourney lat year with only 7 scholarship players, everyone should have known better. But they came back this year and they will be back next year. #grassisalwaysgreenerfans

Exactly the problem. We're all xavier fans-celebrate together? No. In a time we all are pumped, first thing you want to do is separate the fan base. Stuff like this is what makes the board tough to read.

Dumb thread only made dumber by MOR acting like he always had Mack's back. Remember halftime of Nova game when he said Mack should listen to his defensive coordinator? But heh, MOR coached 7th grade girls basketball. He's your man if u are looking for a deal on some Thin Mints.

I have never, ever doubted the overall program. I have expressed legitimate concerns over strategy- especially defensively and why there was not a zone played more often, but those are debatable points where reasonable men can disagree. Have you noticed that we have played more ZONE recently? Credit the staff for installing it.

I have been a staunch defender of Chris Mack on this board, including my "Pay The Man" rant. Don't confuse debates over coaching points in individual games with an overall dissatisfaction with the program or its direction. Two different things.

This. It's so stupid, so divisive. Don't get me wrong, it's equally as dumb when someone starts a thread after a bad game calling for Mack to be fired or whatever, but I at least understand that a little more. It's an overreaction from someone who usually wants the best for the program and hastily starts a post out of frustration.

I need to snippet this post from myself, but it's more and more clear to me that Mack is simply a good coach that coaches his talent appropriately. He doesn't put these kids in a situation where he won't get the most of what they can do.

I have to remember that next year when we have a new PG and C.

As much as I can't stand the guy, Huggins did this at WVU when he bailed out on KSU. He took Bielein's guys and ran a very similar offense before he rolled in his own guys.
