Mack is going to play vs Miller in the Sweet 16, can't wait. It sure is better playing Georgia than Baylor for the next game. Matt and Dee both played a real good game......nice way to go seniors! Very exciting game to watch today.

Georgia STATE (Atlanta), not UGA. GSU isn't used to this Dance.

Anyone who has been to or near the GSU campus knows these are not people who will frighten easily. The good news is, if you're shot near there they have great and experienced care nearby!

A little different than the old "Underground Atlanta" days.

Good times. Great blues/jazz bars down there.

My son who was shocked to be shot near GSU is afraid of Underground Atlanta.

Pre-game of Falcons season opener. One bullett, five holes. Through the arm, then leg, then you don't want to know. Car-jacking, more or less. Still working with PT to get his use of left hand back. Nerve regeneration is a slow and painful thing. Fulton County will pay up to $15,000 in expenses, surprisingly. The shooter was 17, looked 30 and has a long record. Know where you are.

He was afraid of Underground before he got shot, where he felt safe. I doubt it's better now.

Oh my God. I can't imagine what he's gone through. I'm glad he's okay though. That's just scary.

He's still working to re-gain full use of his left hand. Nerve regeneration is slow, painful and iffy. The 17 year old shooter was well known to Fulton County officials.

You know how Xavier's goal all season was a Kenpom top 40 defense? Well, they're at #43 now after holding a good offense to 0.88 points per possession.

I echo the sentiments of my peeps below...

Freaking loved it. You can tell Mack used it as motivation for this game and tournament. Also love that Mack shows he is IN THERE with his guys. Should he have said it? Probably not, but I love that he did.

Couldn't care less about it. Seemed a little mid-majory to me, but we don't need to fight for attention like we used to. I have no problem with him saying it, but I also have no problem with people picking against us. SVPs hater rant was a little different but I don't think we should act as if it's one great injustice that people pick against us. They will learn sooner or later.

but we don't need to fight for attention like we used to.

Well obviously we do. About 90% of the "experts" picked whomever won the game on Tuesday. We have an opportunity to advance to our 5th Sweet 16 in the past 7 years. And yet easily dismissed...not just a few people, but by a lot.

Personally I don't think they will until we make the Final Four and win the BE a few times. When you aren't ranked during the season, and you are not fighting for conference titles, it seems like people forget what you do in March.

We need to continue to improve.

The disrespect card should stay in the locker room imo, but not a big deal at all.

After we get past Georgia St and play Arizona I would like to hear " How's Your Lexus" chants if we can pull off the upset.

Correct on everything.

Damn. I sure am agreeing with DC an awful lot these days. Have I entered an alternative Universe of some sort, like in Fringe?
