How many pros did GT have on that team. I know the obvious two but did Tillman go on to the NBA? I forgot the Cheif was on that team! I can't recall but was he Mr Basketball at Purcell then went to IU?

Oh man what a night. I remember like it was yesterday being at the Ky state tournament and the only guy on my team who had a clue who Xavier was. Our towers were better.

No you are thinking of Dave Minor. DeWayne Wilson went to Marquette HS in Milwaukee.

Dewayne Wilson actually went to Whitnall HS, he was a classmate of mine at X and he currently a Sergeant for Cincy PD but back to the thread. I was in Indy for that game and one of the best memories of my time at XU. Anyone remember the highway being shut down on the way back to Cincy? We got out of our car went to a bathroom at a gas station, bought some snacks, came back and our car was in same position.

Great memories of that and the first round game against K State.Sat in the lower seats for K ST and up in the nose bleeds for Georgetown.Biggest win in school history.

I watched it at Mr. Gatti's at Holiday Manor in Louisville as part of my 8th grade end of season banquet. Can't believe it's been 25 years!
