Does the NCAA provide courts for each hosting site? The courts are completely different than the regular courts at those locations...seems like a crazy expense, but then again, it may be something really easy that I'm missing.

Indeed they do. Most conference tournaments do the same.

Yeah - they've been doing this since the 2008 NCAA Tournament.

I know they look generic, but they also try to avoid having numerous logos on the floor where players would slip and occasionally get hurt. Remember the cluster#@$% floor from the A-10 Tournament back in Atlantic City?

I think courts are pretty easy to assemble and disassemble -- arenas that are basketball/hockey do this all the time.
