Love the experience but we've seen them go cold and they could be ripe for an upset. I really hope they go far though.

I'm with you, markchal. It will annoy me to no end if Nova shoots 25% in the second round and loses. Then, we have to hear about how overrated they are. X is 0-5 the last two years against Nova and I'd be surprised if they shot less than 50% in any of those games.

I have a buddy that is a big UK fan who texted me before the game asking me if X was ready. I responded, "not feeling good. Bad matchup for X and Nova is really good. One of a couple teams in the country who may be able to knock off UK." His response? "Oh, get serious. Nova and Wright are so overrated." I then text, "is Nova as overrated as the SEC?" If Nova chokes in the tourney this year, it will seriously annoy me.

In general, people from Philly suck. I know that's a gross generalization, and it's inappropriate. But seriously, the vast majority of people from Philly suck.

I don't know if you are connected to Brandon or not. But in the off chance you are, please let him know that we certainly care a whole lot. I'm sure there are programs that are fine with transfers, but this isn't one of them. He's a talented kid who still has a great future ahead of him. And the vast majority of us (hell, possibly all of us) would prefer that he did so in a Xavier uniform. And...even moreso...that he graduated with a Xavier degree.

As you might have gathered from my screen name, I live in Los Angeles. I'd be happy to explain to you or anyone else in your family how Xavier takes care of its own. Now and always.
