With JP likely out for the season, I really hope Myles can break out of his slump tonight. We are a different team when he is getting to the rim and hitting jumpers. He's only shooting 22% over the last five games so it would be great to see him get his confidence back tonight and carry that into next week.

I wonder if he's sick. His body language hasn't been good lately.

He has had the big free throws last night when we needed him and the big play off the rebound against Butler........but he has missed some wide open threes and some easy 5 footers. I hope he is on tonight. We are gonna need him.
I love his leadership and he has been fantastic this year. He tried his best to save his best pal Reynolds from a T last night and was almost successful.
Get him rolling tonight behind the 3 point arc and look out.

Two uncharacteristic turnovers last night where I wondered if something was going on. Hopefully its just fatigue.

Seems like something's going on, especially with him not starting the last two games.

If I remember correctly, Shannon tweeted earlier in the week that he was wearing the gold jersey at practice. I don't think his not starting is due to his play as of late, more due to the fact that the match-ups didn't dictate it. That being said, I think it would be huge for him to see one of those threes go down. He had one rattle out during Georgetown's run that looked like it should have gone down. Since the Butler blowout at the Cintas, he is shooting just 5/22 from three, good for 22.7% (as stated above). The loss of Macura will certainly call for some more offensive contributions from guys like Myles, Farr, and Remy.
Edit: didn't consider sickness or injury as a reason for the funk he's in, which could be an explanation

Well, guess I was wrong. 2-9 last night, keeping his fg at 22% over the last six games. Whatever is causing he funk, I hope he snaps it soon. He's got to be the difference maker if we're going to make some noise. With JP out, more than ever we need Myles to score.

Well, if he's gonna break out of it, I prefer that he breaks out of it this week than last night.
His breakout last night would have been of little consequence. It would be HUGE this week.
By the way, Travis Steele is 100% confident that JP is good to go for next week.

That is some great news, hope he's right!

Earlier in the year I noticed Myles had a nice little lift on his jumper. Its gone again as the season wears on like last year. Maybe some rest and good therapy gets his legs back though.

Usually when a players legs go, his shot typically comes up short. Most of Myles shots have been long. He may just need to get some reps.

I think Myles has great stamina considering he's 40. He must have gone on four or five missions to be playing at this age.

Couldn't be happier for Myles finally breaking out of his slump this week. We are a totally different team when he's shooting with confidence and making good decisions. Great experience for him too. I really think he will be one of our leaders next season.
