View Full Version : Rooting Interest 3/7/15

Saturday is finally here. This is quite possibly one of the busiest days in College Basketball with a total of 110 games being played between smaller Conference Tournaments and the big boys completing thier regular season slate.

X needs a victory and all of next week is about seeding. That said, there are a TON of chances for other bubble teams to falter with Indiana being the only bubble team that faces a stronger opponent (and even that is marginal). Another point of interest is Murray State finishing off the Ohio Valley so there is no possible bid stealing situation to be discussed going forward.

Enjoy this great day of College Hoops!

If butler beats providence and georgetown wins, is butler the three? I'd rather not play them in the qtrs. Chrabz is a horrible matchup for stain

Agreed. The most ideal situation for us would be butler 3 and Georgetown 2

Interesting that UD is considered a bubble team.I think they are pretty safe.Let's root for all the bubble teams to lose.Murray State once again has a great season. That is another impressive win for X.

ud is no longer a bubble team after their wins against VCU(away) and RI

Butler is imploding right now.

Michigan State trying their best to choke at Indiana. Missing at the foul line. IU has the ball under 20 seconds left, down 3...

Michigan State misses FT to go up 3. Denzel Valentine somehow doesn't realize they were only up 2, and intentionally fouls Yogi Ferrell...who then misses the 2nd FT. Looks like Sparty will survive. Crazy finish.

If Chrabz wasn't playing I'd agree, with him I think it's a really bad matchup

I'd much rather play GTown now that Chrabs is back.

Dayton was and still is a bubble team.

It's gonna take a strong effort for Murray to win in Belmont's backyard. I think they could be on right side of bubble if they lose here.

Also I'm pretty sure it's lights out for Jamie Dixon and Pitt this year.

Texas A&M didn't do itself any favors while X gets decent RPI boost with Bama beating the Aggies

Looks like a pretty even crowd situation in Nashville. Fun environment and a good game so far.

Belmont was a heavy favorite last year and lost to Eastern KY with the hometown crowd. It's a much different situation this year with all the pressure on Murray State to win. They can play spoiler this year.

This has been a back and forth game so far with Murray on a strong run to close out the 1st half.

This game is amazing. They've shot over 60 3's between them.

Disappointing to see Murray St. go down their first loss since 11/29 and they wont make the NCAA. They may have actually been able to pull an upset in the opening round now we get to see Belmont extend their NCAA futility.

Good thing Xavier ain't playing Belmont this year - they're a nightmare if they're hitting from outside like they did tonight.

They're not exactly a newcomer to March Madness.

I don't feel bad for them at all. That's what they get for playing NO ONE out of conference (save us) and losing to Houston (albeit to open their season).
