It's like fantasy football... gets you interested in games you otherwise couldn't care less about.

Not sure, but it could also have something in common with crack!

I could be wrong there....

Was it Robin Williams who said "you know what cocaine makes you want to do? More cocaine!"

I hadn't heard about Hamilton and thre recent stuff. What a shame.

So, how's Murray State doing? The rest of that is well past my bedtime.

According to CBS, these games tonight would help our RPI

IUPUI beating Western Illinois...they did
Texas El Paso beating Louisiana State...they did not
Northern Arizona beating North Dakota...they did
Murray State beating Eastern Illinois...they did
San Diego beating Gonzaga...late game

I almost shit myself earlier because I heard on a guy on the radio here in Columbus today say OSU needs to win tonight if they want to get one of those top 4 seeds. Top 4 seeds?! How about needing a win just to avoid being on the outside of the bubble? Geez get serious Ohio St radio guy.

The CBS thing is working. Our RPI came back up to 30 from 31.

I missed IUPUI but didn't figure N Arizona was worth mentioning as they are easily the worst team X played all year

I checked out LBSU on RPI forecast the other day and tonight's late game tip on Oahu is easily their biggest game left in terms of helping their RPI. They're +1.5 and a win would get them inside the top 100 while a loss would more than likely make it impossible for them to sneak in, save for winning the conference tournament.

He was probably talking about top 4 seeds in the B1G tourney.

Andddd they got crushed.

LBSU has now lost five in a row...is someone injured or have they just gone off the rails the last couple of weeks?

Ah that would make a lot more sense.

This is true, but why shortchange the Lumberjacks? They've won 22 of their last 23.

Didn't they have a ridiculous record going into the tourney last year as well?

hindsight is 20/20 but it would have really helped them if they had beaten N. Iowa the second game of the season. I wonder that if they would have won that if they would be considered for an at-large bid as well? Probably not but it would have really helped.

yeah i think they won something like 30 in a row last year...last loss they had was I believe in late november... it would really help them tournament wise if their league wasn't so terrible...it does nothing to prepare them

I think they'd be a lock with a win over UNI (assuming they win out in the regular season).

Murray State can look back to losses to Houston and Portland if they lose in the OVC Tournament. Win those two, and they're 27-2 and playing for seeding.
