Obviously I don't think we go that far but in all seriousness I do think we get in now with one more win. I do mean this though. When x makes the tournament I think Jalen Reynolds has a chance to put himself on next year wooden lists with a great performance. Jalen is more than capable of a game of like 15 and 20 like what brown did against byu ( not sure of his points but you get my point). I think he has a very big tournament

Tournaments are all about draws and playing well on any given day.

Jalen could have a great tournament, or we could just as easily sizzle out in the first game, like last year.

Are we capable of going far? Sure, especially if we can bottle up today's game and use it again and again.

Is it likely? No. Too young to keep that going throughout the season.

We also just beat a team that had their top scorer in foul trouble most of the game and another starter out. It's a big win nonetheless, and certainly a resume builder, but lets not start thinking we just beat UK either.

Of course this team can go to the elite 8. This team has put back to back great games together where they shot very well. If they keep that up they could go deep in the the tournament. St John's is going to be a huge game. They win that I would say they are a virtual lock to dance.

Adding to the food for thought: If Xavier can win these next two games (Big IF, I know- but I think X beats St. Johns. I don't think they can compete with Nova though) Anyways, IF they win both- X will be ranked in the top 25. Food for thought.

I'm getting some flashbacks of the 03/04 year also. The UC victory started "The Run". And maybe some similarities between Chalmers and Davis. All of a sudden Dee can't miss from 3.

Actually, amazingly 7 Big East teams have been ranked this year, including Creighton. Xavier would be the 8th.
