What is the best route to the game from downtown?

I am thinking of taking Liberty to Gilbert and Gilbert up the hill until I can get on Victory.

Any road reports out there?

Maybe 71 to Dana, though I've never gone from downtown to X.

I would suggest north on reading then right at either Dana or Ashland depending where you park

Depends on the traffic. On a weekend 71 to Dana is easy as it gets. When there is more traffic I take Reading Road.

I took 71N from a double shift at UPS overnight because a storm prevented second shift workers from arriving. It was exam week and I was freaking out about being late. As I was heading back to campus, I lost traction going up the hill on 71N..... only to find myself heading south on 71 north. That, for the record, is a very bad feeling. Truckers and cops whizzed by me honking and shrugging, respectively. At first I was worried about being late for exams. That fear went away when I was sure I wouldn't live long enough to see a class room again. I eventually crashed into the median and regained some traction. So, moral of the story is avoid steep inclines and tractor trailers in bad weather. That ends this public service announcement.
