and UC loses to the Green Wave on a buzzer beater. Both teams limping into the shootout and could be must win for both.

NEED to win and I mean NEED, would be a big win especially on the road

It is an absolute MUST win. Hell, at this point, every game, with the possible exception of Nova, is a must win.

The Crosstown Shootout can completely turn a season around. Being late in the season there isn't much time but hopefully a win against UC can be the spark this team has needed and they finish strong because of it.

Love the attitude. It's not that we don't have the talent to win a lot of these games. Love what Dee and Stain bring, but the heart of this team is freshman and sophomores. Have to learn to win and believe it's going to happen. Hoping to win is different from knowing you'll win. Wish Sumner could have learned from this year, but hope we find the PG answer for next year. I get those who are impatient, but I like what I see in talent. When these guys are juniors and seniors we have something special. Now fill in behind them so we can keep it rolling.

How can a wimpy team like this one compete in the Shootout? On the road? I guess strangers things have happened.

Because the Borecats lost to Tulane (163 RPI)....at home...and scored 49 points doing it.
