Finally we get another Honorary Steel Ballz Award! This it is to celebrate the 2/7 win over Providence.
I personally did not get to watch this game, so the three entries go to the three players with a fattest stat lines. So if you have someone else to enter, please do!
Candidates:
Dee Davis - 4 points on 0/2 shooting (0/1 from 3, 4/6 from the line), 3 rebounds and 15  assists
Jalen Reynolds - 19 points on 9/10 shooting (1/1 from the line), 7 rebounds and an assist
Trevon Bluiett - 19 points on 7/13 shooting (3/7 from 3, 2/2 from the line), 5 rebounds and an assist
Other - Maybe you think Myles should win it (14 points)? Maybe JP (10 points)? Or you could go crazy and throw it to O'Mara for his solid minutes. If you select this option, please tell who your write-in is and why
Remember, don't let the stats alone dictate your choice. Consider their entire effect on the game.
All stats from goxavier.com.
Hard NOT to vote Jalen, but 15 assists and the steal that saved a game that seemed to be turning against us..... that's some great stuff. I felt sick as it looked like things were going to change with an esay layup - that never came! GO DEE!

I go with Dee too. I looked up the assists record. He's the only Xavier player to ever have 15 assists in a game twice. Keith Walker has the single-game record with 18. Tu, Ralph Lee and Dave Lynch each 15 assists once.

Dee's contributions were crucial.

This!
In an instant Dee turned a down to the wire game into a win. I can think of a bigger singular defensive play made by a Xavier player since Lloyd Prices steal against UC. Hats off to Dee!

Guess Cage's block vs. St Joe's to save the A 10 championship was a mere thing of the past.

Dee. Solidified a huge win at the end and played his role amazingly throughout the game. When Dee acts as a facilitator and doesn't try too hard it does wonders for this team. Possibly his best game all season

Price's steal was the first regular season game that came to mind. Didn't really try to think of any others. My bad.

That was glorious. When the guy was lining up the shot, I was sure it would go in, but Cage got there so quickly.

That was such an awesome moment for X. Lots of swag, I miss that. Hopefully the Dee to Jalen off the glass mojo at the end the game today will bring that back.

I really feel like Xavier got their offensive mojo back when they made the comeback in this game.

Dee doesn't lead and have that killer step on your throat mentality that Jalen has which is why I went with Reynolds. Jalen has steel ballz.

Can't go wrong with Jalen or Dee.
I voted Jalen but might change my answer to Dee with the assists and then that steal which was so huge.
Close call.

I went with Dee because of the 15 assists and the ridiculous strip on the ball with what everyone thought would be a dunk or layup. Jalen's dunks don't happen without Dee.

That's what sealed it for me. Steel Ballz = Clutch, and that steal was clutch and just might have decided the game. It was against all odds that he could strip him and not foul. Oh, 15 assists isn't too shabby either. Having said that, watching Jalen grow into his potential is awesome!

Dee was great, but I gotta vote Myles Davis.
He hit 3 threes to really get this team rolling in the second half and played the top of the zone when Macura wasn't in there.
Without those 3's in quick succession that gave the team a shot of confidence when we were down 10, I don't know if we win.

Dee, calm, cool, just doing it. In the final minutes, could hear the balls clanging
