Jalen has the worst BB IQ I have seen in an XU player. This is not the first time he has done something that is bonehead or based solely on emotion. There was zero reason to be anywhere near the ball at that point. He has no conception of time and situation.

Although Jalen gets the great bulk of the blame, there was no reason for him to be in, especially given his bonehead history. Mack sat him down for much of the half because of 2 fouls. He then takes the risk of a third foul with a minute to go with little upside.

Our big advantage is underneath. Jalen was a big part of the possible 2nd half comeback. Now we have a foul prone player with 3 fouls, a possible loss of 2 points for no reason, and DePaul has possession to begin the half. Just no words for the stupidity.

A lot of people are enamored of Jalen's athleticism, which seems to mean ability to jump. Well, his athleticism has not resulted yet in a good defensive player, and there is a lot more to BB than the ability to jump.

Good observation. He has done good things on offense but a liability on defense.

The stars are Stainbrook, D. Davis, M. Davis in that order. Dee has been excellent in getting the ball inside and superb in what he has done while being posted underneath by Garret and the bigs.
