So the team has time to practice in the morning before tip? Also, I'm guessing that it was one of the times of the Hall of Champions was available.

The Event at Rosemont Horizon / Allstate Arena befroe the DePaul game was terrific.

Very well run, heavy hors d'oeuvres were hot and tasty. Beer was cold and fine.

Hats off to Darlene Gilligan in the Alumni Office for putting it together.

I would like to know their rational for having the pregame event Friday night

When I spoke with someone on the phone, part of the reasoning was so the team could attend and interact (the only Alumni road event with this happening). My guess is it is a mixture of what Coasterville and Muskie mentioned with the team being there to be an attractive incentive.

Headed to Indianapolis today for the game. Have to work until 2:30 and then high-tailing it to Hinkle. Does anyone know a good place I can park quickly as I'll be up against the clock getting there before tip-off.

The evening was very nice. Great Food and good meeting fellow fans and the Xavier Class of 2019 (HS kids that have accepted to X were in attendance). Greg Christopher, Coach Mack, Dee Davis, and Trevon all made remarks to the crowd. They then stuck around and took pictures and talked to the group. Great pre-game event before Butler today.
