Great game and a great win tonight. Down 4 with under a minute to go, Madison Blackwell gets a 3-pointer to bounce in and, after forcing a shot-clock violation, Maleeka Kynard goes coast-to-coast for the game-winning layup with 1.7 seconds left. It was a great, back-and-forth game, and a great effort to pull it out at the end. With a win against 4-10 Providence on Sunday they will match last year's Big East win total.

This year's women's team is much improved over last season. I believe they've already exceeded last year's total wins.

Gaffney was sick, should be back for the road games at Seton Hall and DePaul this coming weekend
