Hope to see lots of XH's fans and families on Saturday as Xavier takes on DePaul. Here are some details (all times CST) ...
Xavier comes to Chicago on Saturday for a 1PM (CST) Big East game vs DePaul at the Allstate Arena. Plenty of tickets remain through DePaul or you can try the Xavier ticket office at 513-745-3411.
There will be a Xavier-sponsored pregame reception (not to miss, $20 includes food) beginning at 12 noon - ushers will be able to direct you. Walk-ups allowed, but an email to Darlene Gilligan, gilligan@xavier.edu, to RSVP would be appreciated.
Pre-pregame reception (11AM - kegs and eggs, Chicago style) and post-game gathering at Shoeless Joes Ale House nearby in Rosemont (they've told me you can park there throughout the game, 10min walk to arena).
For out of towners, one night hotels stays this time of year, near the arena/O'hare airport are under $100 and probably less with priceline.com. Game time is pretty good for a drive in, drive back from pretty much anywhere in the Midwest.
We can turn this into a home game for Xavier if everyone can get the word out, come out, and be loud! Go X!
