74-71, Xavier. Way to bring home our first Big East 'W' of the season.

Now a quick turnaround for two home games this weekend- Creighton on Friday and Providence on Sunday.

The drive back home was much faster thanks to the thrilling win. Xavier looked really strong in the first half. Marquette started to press and we either broke it easily or had a silly turnover. I give the team a lot of credit in that they never gave up the lead. Some huge baskets working it to Bri near the end of the game and some made free throws. I'm starting to see some of the newer players show some real improvement. I thought Anniina had some solid minutes. Maleeka had hard work bringing the ball up. Lots of contributors all around. I hope the team builds on this Big East win on the road.
