Possibly stealing stuff from a dorm. I heard it from my wife first, then checked twitter and UD Pride. Seems to be true. She wasn't sure about Jalen Robinson, but the UD Pride thread references him, too.

At least they didn't say gangster.

Fuck UD.....and their self righteous fans. They roasted Xaviers players as criminals after an on-court fight and lauded the morally-grounded nature of their program. Since then they have reinstated a sex offender, and now have two criminals stealing from the University, one of which was suspended earlier in the year. Kiss my white ass UD

Apples and oranges.

You would have thought after the fight that XU was the new UNLV if you talked to UD fans (which nobody should ever do). UC on the other hand deserved every grenade thrown their way during the Huggins years. I've never been one to say that our boys were above the nonsense, but the stuff going on in Clifton when Chuggs was there was the stuff of legend when it comes to bad behavior. Legend I tell ya.

Is it true that Mick Cronin at UC passed on Devon Scott? UC passes on Scott due to characters issues and Dayton decides to roll the dice on him!

I feel sorry for the young men and women who were victimized by these assholes. Apparently, there has been at least one account of a young woman coming eye-to-eye with one of them in the middle of the morning in her dorm room. He said something to the effect of you should not of left your door unlocked.

The scarecrow, and now these two dumbasses.

I hope the flyers fall apart and Archie wises up and leaves for a better opportunity.

You're the life of every party, aren't you? UC fans acted like Huggins was the height of moral and basketball superiority. They never acknowledged or accepted that there was a problem. Still don't. We at least acknowledge when the shizz hits the fan. And dayton fans are just . . . yuck.

I'm not a fan of UD or their fans. I just think it's pretty darn hypocritical for someone to be critical of how they took advantage of our misfortune just like we reveled in UC's mess for several years. I know plenty of UC fans who were fed up with things and acknowledged it got out of hand. Most of them just didn't care as long as the wins kept coming.

Too many people on this board mistake the ammo used in rival banter for true hypocrisy. But honestly, if this had happened at Xavier, there would've been a perfectly good explanation for it. Or it would have just been a couple bad eggs who aren't a true reflection of the rest of us. But it happened at dayton, and it frankly tells you all you need to know about that scummy program. Criminals, melon fuckers and delusional nostalgia chasers are all they are.

What "misfortune" did we have? Two players saying something stupid, not illegal, at a press conference? Dez Wells being wrongfully accused of rape? That is several solar systems away from UC's 15 year mess or the laundry list of incidents, as indicated above, involving UD's two players.

And to be fair to Wells, I don't think being wrongfully accused of rape should be classified as a "misfortune". It's a travesty.

Well, Tu and Wells also arguably started that nationally televised fight (I know it's debatable, but let's please not debate it again). And we do have former players in prison for murder and drug dealing. So...there's that...

It was a fight in a sporting event. I don't care. It was a blip on the radar screen. You want to compare that to UC's 15 year mess or two UD players who apparently were continuing to commit crimes while on the team? (assuming the above post from AMM is correct)

The players you refer to were all kicked off the team (except one) and committed crimes long after they left X. Again, we're talking solar systems away. I don't hold X responsible, nor do I even consider it a "misfortune", when a player who got kicked off the team and leaves school commits a crime ten years after he leaves X.

With, truly, all due respect, '87, I'm not even sure how "stupid" what was said was. It certainly was blown way the hell out of proportion. What was stupid was Eiser letting those kids up on a podium minutes after an emotional rivalry game.

And as to Wells, he may or may not have been falsely accused of rape by a Xavier student, but he violated the Code of Conduct, was deemed by the Disciplinary Board, including other students, to have committed an expellable offense and was accurately accused of stupidity. In the wake of all the bad pub surrounding schools and rape charges lately, Xavier took the action that was the lesser of two evils and stood by it as opposed to udump who caved with the big frog.

Jordan Crawford put a cellphone in his pocket to see if it felt right weight-wise and then accidentally walked out of the store with it. Big difference from stealing. Some guy's face attacked Sean Miller's closed moving fist during a fight in Richmond. Good thing that wasn't on ESPN. I think CJ Anderson killed a guy with a trident once.

Really not sure what any of our misunderstandings have to do with the thuggery that goes on at dayton.

This is bad for UD. They took a shot on a couple of borderline kids and both failed. Now they have one 6'11 kid who can't play (partial qualifier), and the next up are guys 6'6 and shorter. If one isn't the second coming of Charles Barkley they could be in for a long rest of the year. Can you imagine Stain going up against these guys?

If you're implying that she was underage, the age of consent in Ohio is 16. But if you're implying she was too drunk to give consent, then ok there is a problem there.

Tom Archdeacon ripped both of them in the paper this morning. It's behind the DDN pay wall that I have never paid for but can access for some reason. In the article, he said that there were two dozen theft reports last Saturday in the dorm.

He also referenced this tweet: "The best advice I've ever gotten was from the two black guys I woke up to breaking into my room - 'maybe U should lock ur door next time,...Thnx"

The UD sweatervests were so indignant and self righteous when Tu and Mark used the words Gangsters in a press conference. This is pure Karma. These two stole from a minnimum of 25 other students.

The most ridiculous thing to me is that these guys must have thought that they'd get away with this stuff. Obviously vdump needs to do a better job in their Criminal Justice courses.
