The players you refer to were all kicked off the team (except one) and committed crimes long after they left X. Again, we're talking solar systems away. I don't hold X responsible, nor do I even consider it a "misfortune", when a player who got kicked off the team and leaves school commits a crime ten years after he leaves X.

With, truly, all due respect, '87, I'm not even sure how "stupid" what was said was. It certainly was blown way the hell out of proportion. What was stupid was Eiser letting those kids up on a podium minutes after an emotional rivalry game.

And as to Wells, he may or may not have been falsely accused of rape by a Xavier student, but he violated the Code of Conduct, was deemed by the Disciplinary Board, including other students, to have committed an expellable offense and was accurately accused of stupidity.
