Trust me, watching a game with gladdenguy is awesome. He is a great, passionate Xavier fan who loves when we play well as much as anyone. He may be a worrier, but don't mistake that for not being a loyal die-hard. And while the unfortunate truth is that Cintas can at times be way too tame and quiet, your boy is not the reason why.

My kids also went to camp there for a few years when Greg Marshall was coach. I'll root for them as long as it doesn't hurt XU. My thought after re-re-rewatching the Mizzou game is that Auburn is going to have to play way over their head to win on Saturday. They didn't look good at Clemson and Pearl has a lot of work to do down there to get them to a decent level.

I AM concerned about their press, but I'm a worrier. I do take comfort in the fact that we have a lot more guys who can handle the ball than the last couple years. Last season I would have pressed us every time we didn't have both Dee and Semaj on the floor, and half the time that we did have them both. Now we have more ball handlers, more fresh legs and a lower chance for a key player cramping. I hope for a lot of easy baskets as a result and they stop pressing when we're up 30.

Before the last horrific, unprepared play even happened, At NO time, when. Auburn was driving to the basket and scoring at will- especially when Dee D Avis had 3 fouls, did Xavier even consider playing a zone. Auburn should have been challenged to make shots and it would have preserved Dee's fouls. Instead Mack hard-headedly stayed with what wasn't working. An absolute joke.

Don't get me started about the substitution patterns.
