man it would be great to win at least one more game....if they play UMBC, I am guessing it would be a home game, and if they play Louisville I would think we would have a pretty strong contingent show up for a chance to go to the final four.

My guess is BEDN. Two Big East basketball games that afternoon.

Unfortunately I haven't seen anything on the schedule for BEDN and all I could find is pay-per-view thru Creighton (http://www.gocreighton.com/liveEvents/liveEvents.dbml?SPSID=89401&SPID=2518&DB_LANG=C&DB_OEM_ID=1000).

Maybe there will be another stream.

Edit: Or I was mistaken and it won't be premium. Guess we'll see on Sunday.

@XUmktgguy: @Danagardens I've been told that Sunday's @XavierMSOC #NCAASoccer 3rd Round match will be a FREE web stream at @gocreighton.

There you go.....

They have a good chance to win this one as well, because of all the pace up top, Creighton's biggest weakness is their two centerbacks, I think we could expose them on the break.

I've watched X play 3 times now and I really think a more controlled style and possession is going to be really important for them to continue advancing. I bet IU had possession 60% of the time and that's going to be hard to overcome as the competition gets better. I'm not saying move away from their style of play entirely. I like the counter attackers and think its a strength. Possession out of the back into midfield can get a lot better.

I only saw the Butler game, but I felt exactly the same thing after seeing them play. But they have been very successful this year playing the style they do, so I doubt there will be any change.

Xavier's entire style is based on defense and countering. Andy Fleming has no issue with the other team having more possession I don't think. They aren't going to change what they do at this point in the season. It has worked so stick with it. They certainly have the players to do what theyve been doing

Seems like Andy Fleming's style is to defend first at all costs then teach his guys that when the opposition gets lulled into complacency, or X gets a break to go for it. No unnecessary chances taken on offense though.

I think that Andy is content to have a 0-0 game if necessary, go to OT and his guys will find a way.

This is exactly right. Will Walker and Matt Vasquenza have enough playmaking ability between them that if they don't give any goals up, theyre going to have a great shot at winning the game.

For what it's worth, Creighton is the Vegas favorite, but not by a lot...

Xavier +135
Creighton -175

XU playing some tight D but also just had a nice shot on goal (header) following a pass from the corner. Blue Jay goalie made a nice save. (Still 0-0 with about 10 minutes to go in the period).
