FS1 or 2 could take it theoretically since its two Big East games.

Looks like two hoops games on fs1 though. My guess is BEDN.

Outstanding game under worse than bad conditions. I can remember playing in similar conditions and it really is hard to do much of anything and to get any type of real flow. Really tough for team like X, that seems to rely on player speed and counter attacks to score goals, to be successful offensively in conditions such as they experienced today. Indiana has the most successful men's college soccer program in history (I believe they have EIGHT national championships to their credit), so this was obviously the biggest win in Xavier men's soccer history. Congratulations and best of luck in the next round guys! We are proud of you!

Actually my alma mater Saint Louis University does in terms of championships. They have 10. But its pretty ancient history as they havent been in the national championship game since the 70's.

I do remember SLU being very good in soccer, but was not aware they had won that many championships. I seem to remember that youth soccer was very popular in the St. Louis area long before it caught on in other parts of the country. Wasn't Washington University, in St.Louis, also a small college soccer power?

There is very little to no youth football in St. Louis (at least in the 90's), it is all soccer.

I'm pretty sure they aren't even considered to get an expansion team. I know MLS wants to get to 24 teams. In 2017 when Chivas comes back and ATL gets added they'll be at 22. I'm pretty sure Sacramento and/or San Antonio will get a team. Las Vegas might be in the mix as well. St Louis would seem like a good place for a team and I am baffled that they haven't made any push for an MLS squad.

St. Louis has bigger fish to fry.

The Rams are rumored to be one of the franchises that is in line to move back to Los Angeles.....that is, unless they build a new NFL Stadium there.

Incredible to believe, but the Edward Jones Dome, which is only 20 years old, is considered to be outdated. WTF?

"In May 2012 the Dome was ranked by Time Magazine as the #7th worst major sports stadium in the United States.[11] In 2008 St. Louis fans ranked it in a Sports Illustrated poll the worst of any NFL stadium with particularly low marks for tailgating, affordability and atmosphere."

Xville

The dome is a horrible place to watch a football game. Yes it is only 20 years old, but it was already 10 plus years old when it was built..meaning the plans for the place had been made ten years before it was ever even built. Saint Louis had tried on numerous occasions to get an expansion franchise but when that failed, they got the rams.

Their lease expires at the end of the season - that's why they're a prime candidate to relocate.

It's similar in a way to the Atlanta Braves and their move up north - Turner Field was merely a redesign of the 1996 Olympic Stadium. The Braves will complete the lease at Turner Field and move to their new digs (will be called SunTrust Park) once the ballpark/mall area is complete.

If we beat Creighton and get to Elite 8, we play either Loserville or UMBC, Loserville is actually pretty good, but where we are the higher seed we would have the game at home. Which would be absolutely nuts. Win that, and we are off to the Final 4 in Cary, NC!

Cardinals are definitely number one but saint louis supports every team there well. They support the blues like crazy and still put 55k to 60k at a terrible venue for a terrible team that hasn't had a winning season in what will now be 12 seasons
