2015 Orlando Classic features Alabama, Dayton, Iowa, Notre Dame, USC, Xavier, and one team TBD, per release.

There is absolutely no chance we will not face Dayton in the first round.

WE seem to be in quite a few of these tourneys with Iowa. As for dayton, priders probably reserving hotel rooms as I type.

Poor Dayton

No kidding. As good as this year's team looks, they will absolutely destroy Dayton next year.

Looks like the TBD is Wichita State.

That's a pretty loaded tournament. At least name-wise.

Okay, guess that seals the deal on me attending.

What a great looking tournament. Shame they had to throw dayton in there.

So, what poor soul is the 8th team?

The TBD is still TBD.

I think we all know who the pour soul is that's the 8th team.

Think about this: If we play Dayton next year, the only player that suited up against Dayton the last time we played them was James Farr.

Solid field...are there dates yet?

It'll be someone from the MAAC - they're actually the host for the Orlando Tournament (formerly the Old Spice Classic).

Manhattan, Iona, or Siena would be okay.

Manhattan, Iona, or Siena would be okay.

Iona would be the most exciting team to play. Guaranteed that in at least two of their three games, they'd blow a double digit second half lead. Whenever this happens, it is known as "Cluessing."

Just yesterday I was just feeling all happy that X doesn't play dayton any time soon, then this field comes out and I'm furious. X should drop out. I want no association whatsoever, in any capacity, with dayton. For any reason. Ever. EVER.

Watching UD fans melt down when we quit playing them was great. Watching Xavier fans reactions, like PM Thor, if the series ever resumes, would also be great.

There's not much to lose by playing Dayton in a neutral setting in November, although there won't be much to gain if they nosedive in 2015-16. I wouldn't bet on it if Archie Miller is still coaching at that point.

playing any combination of those teams automatically makes next years non-con schedule ten times better than this year.

Watching USC suck it up to Akron right now. They sucked last year (although they won in B4A) and they'll suck again next year. But hey... we get to see the coaches hot wife again.

UD loses 1 player (Sibert) and gains a pretty decent recruiting class. They should be very solid next year provided Miller stays.

They don't lose many numbers, but the players they have aren't very good, especially down low.

If they make the tournament this year I really don't see Archie sticking around. If so it probably means they will get some decommits.

Our student section needs to get to work for that game against VD and we XHers need to pony up to get them to Florida! Opportunities like this don't come around often. We must take advantage to embarrass VD as much as possible!

Huh? Not one top 150 guy, 200's to 375, but guess it's ok for VD.

Is Sibert the one that beat up his girlfriend/wife, or was that someone else on the team? UD let the Scarecrow back on their squad last year and now they have domestic violence cases suiting up. I wouldn't be surprised if they have a suspension or two this year.

Sean, Calipari and Matta are all telling Archie to be patient, but do well enough to get lifted out of there. In the meantime, some of those Cryer fans probably truly believe they have Archie wrapped up for a while. What a meltdown it will be when Archie exits stage left to a P5 program - or perhaps St. Johns.

I believe it was Devon Scott. BTW their new logo is hideous. I wonder how much time was invested in coming up with that one. VD...I love it.

That's a pretty decent field for a tournament. I wish we could get back to the days of loaded Maui Invitational and Loaded Alaska Shootouts. Although besides March, this is one of my favorite times of the year for basketball.

It was Devon Scott, the one that tipped in the game winner yesterday. Twitter had some gold on it after that.
