Wait so theoretically Xavier could play Long Beach State twice this season?

Is that correct?

That is correct...we SHOULD make the Finals of this thing. Hell, we should win this thing.

Theoretically yes and in the same tournament. Tonight's game is a "non-bracketed" game in the Wooden Legacy.

Odds are very low, though.

I think Wooden's legacy is a lot of championships bought by Sam Gilbert.

I think our last meeting was in the Diamond Classic in Hawaii after the UC game. Ugh! Hopefully Mack hasn't forgotten it and puts a whopping on them on the frozen tundra tonite.

This year's Long Beach team isn't anywhere close to as good as that year's Long Beach team.

I don't know...they're a pretty decent team. Probably a tough out on a neutral floor.

I agree they were a decent team. My point was more that it's like a 4-game parlay -- the odds of which hitting (in a way in which we would play them in the Sunday matchups) are pretty low.

This year's Long Beach team isn't anywhere close to as good as that year's Long Beach team.

We had a bunch of guys suspended for that game.
