Should be a much stiffer test for the Muskies on Tuesday.

Really good showing for Long Beach. The Big West has three pretty good teams with them, UC Irvine, and Santa Barbara.

Tyler Lamb has not played yet. Anyone know why and if he will be back Tuesday? He is their best player and started at UCLA as a freshman.

I don't know about that. Long Beach beat San Francisco State, 74-64 last night in Long Beach. SF State is a DII team and it was an exhibition for them. LBSU was up 64-60 with just under two minutes to play and made a couple of three's to ice it. This game and a cross country trip to Cincy has me thinking that LBSU, though not nearly as bad as NoAZ, will not be as tough a matchup as one may believe come Tuesday night at Cintas.

Hope you're right vee, but the Marriott Center is a really tough place to play. If you can go in there and come within 5 points of getting a win, you are not to be overlooked.

The SFS scheduling was weird. Why were they playing that on a back to back?

I was at the No AZ game, Go. Having attended every home opener since 2000, I have to say this is the most complete and talented X team this early in the season, maybe ever. The were crisp, the ball movement very good, floor spacing very good and the freshmen seem to have a high basketball IQ. I am usually a Nervous Nellie, but I do think that the cross country trip and a young, hungry XU team will carry the day.

Dan Monson is their coach, and he does weird things.
