Did anyone catch this last night??
I find most exhibition games to be very unsatisfying, and almost tormenting, as I'm anxiously awaiting for the real games to start, especially since teams are now basically prohibited from playing anyone who can give them a game if they want to open it up to the public.
Having said that, this one was cool. They scheduled Northwood, who is coached by Rollie Massimino, who I didn't even realize was still coaching, and put on quite a show. They even did the old Big Five staple of littering the court with toilet paper after the first basket, which got Jay Wright T'd up.
They then proceeded to show their appreciation for their beloved Coach Mass by stomping the hell out of his current team. So, like most exhibition games, I turned it off by halftime. But, it was still kind of cool to see.
