Remy Abell, Xavier: The 6-4 guard was a solid reserve on two Sweet 16 teams at Indiana but now has a chance to have a bigger piece of the pie with the Musketeers. Strong, tough and sturdy, Abell has a chance to be a lockdown defender as Xavier hopes to challenge Villanova for a Big East title.
Oh my, am I the only one who is far more eager than usual to get the season started? This has been a very long tease. I know it's going to take some time to put it all together, but I want to see some action!

I'll bet there's a bunch of Xavier freshmen guys saying the same thing at Dana's every weekend.
Remy should fill a nice role for us. I love having a long, athletic perimeter defender who takes a lot of pride on that end, and I think that's what we'll have in Abell. Plus he can hit an open three and slash. Hope he's ready for a pretty big role.

It's more than just the freshmen. Everyone on campus is ready to get his season rolling.

Freshmen typically aren't 21 and I know Dana's doesn't serve to minors.

Okay, then let's go with freshmen who drink and get blasted before walking up to Dana's with the sole intention of getting laid. The legal age for getting laid is definitely less than 21, so get the drinking part out of the way beforehand.

Sounds like it's own thread......Things you can legally do before you can have a beer
1) Get laid
2) Have a child
3) Get Married
4) Join the military and die for your country
5) Join the military and kill someone
6) Play the lottery
7) Smoke a cigarette

The disparity in these ages raises the degree of difficulty.

I loved your first entry here. I vaguely remember our freshman year and 3.2 beer...and Dana's.

Wow, hadn't thought of the 3.2 beer in a while. Can I safelt assume that's gone now? If so, when did that happen? I think I officially turned 21 on my 19th birthday. I think I got extra credit for my strong attendance record.

How do I say this delicately? How about this, especially in states below the Ohio River and within the same households there. How's that?

Dash, Having been at Dana's with you also there, I vaguely remember why it is you can only vaguely remember. But, i do remember getting served real booze once I flashed my uh-hem, "ID" to the bartender.
