Well, this should be interesting. Hard to know what to expect with so many new faces.
School's started with no apparent bumps so far.
Remembered to make this a public poll this year.
Jump in.

Voted 24 or more because I am a hopeless optimist. I can't see winning less than 20 under any but the most dire of circumstances.

I'm going with a 24-7 regular season and a win or two in the Big East Tourney.

Really excited for this year. I think the season hinges on 3 things. 1. If Reynolds has turned the corner and can be a consistent presence on the floor, this team will have a guy who brings a double/ double threat to every game 2. Who's going to give this team some reliable three point shooting? This is a big one as it might likely have to be a frosh. 3. PG. Will DD have solid senior campaign and run this team well or will Randolph or Sumner emerge as the guy?

As good as Sumner will probably be in the long run, if their is a freshman PG who contributes and runs the offense it'll be LAJr. Randolph is the first PG off the bench, but expect Larry to get some minutes as well.

This team goes as Dee goes. He was #2 in assists in the BE last year. If he can be #1 I think we have a great chance at a top 3 finish and NCAA bid.

I think its a foregone conclusion that Reynolds will have turned the corner. I'm not sure that he will average 10+, but he will be a big factor on the rebounding front. I fully expect us to have the best frontcourt in the league.

I'm thinking 22 wins. Which would be an improvement over last year.

Dee worries me. If you consider how much time he got to play as a freshman, he's managed to see a lot of playing time at X. I just don't understand why after 3 years, his elbow is still all over the place when he shoot a jumper. I don't want to be too negative about the kid because he is a little tough guy and has obviously hit the weights. That jump shot though....

Dee concerns me too, but he was second in the BE in assists/game and first in assist/40 minutes. With all the new guys, I'm hoping he doesn't have to shoot much, that three pointer might bring rain and ruin our pretty new floor.... on second thought...

But basketball is a big man's game and although he plays hard, the size issue comes into play. I'm a fan of his toughness and hoping it's his time to shine!

Why does this thread keep getting bumped up to the top? Is it people voting in the poll? It tricks me everytime.

Hey coach Mack, start recruiting Jordan McCabe...he is one heckuva PG...according to what we've seen on Youtube, he's class of 2018.
