I don't see it at all. There are only so many ways you can make a logo that depicts a blue jay.

They both have shades of blue, are birds and have beaks. That's all of the similarities.

Toronto's is more 2D while Creighton's conveys a 3D look due to the shading.

On a related note, Dino's Logistics was also considering legal action against VD for poaching their logo.

Once they saw the backlash against Dayton and the VD logo, they just figured it was punishment enough.

When I first saw Creighton's new logo (especially with the one with the "C" in the background), I thought it looked like a mix of UConn and Toronto. But as you all have mentioned how many ways can you draw a blue jay head?

Like anyone is going to confuse a college in Omaha with a baseball team in Canada? 99% of the people in this country couldn't even tell you where either of these teams are located.


Kinda nice that the most controversial thing WE have to discuss this offseason is.......a floor design. :)

It's really funny because Creighton literally did rip off the Toronto Blue Jays back in the early 90s(I think that's when it was) They used the actual Toronto Blue Jays logo with the maple leaf and everything back in the day on their baseball uniforms and Toronto never made a stink then. Really funny they're complaining now.

They ripped off the Reds with those hats, too. And that pitcher took it seriously when he was taught to "drop and drive". Looks like he got that right knee dirty when he pitched. Shades of Seaver (though I'm sure that's the only way he reminded anyone of Seaver).

About time someone has the balls to attack the Blue Jays. This is 2014, people. We can't just have a team calling itself the Blue Jays. I mean think about what that could possibly mean? Think about the potentially DOZENS of people it could offend! They need to know that it's not OK to have an opinion different than the one we gave them on this subject.
