Pretty easy schedule overall, but I'm guessing that Coach Neal wants to build confidence with wins to build some momentum.

I can never tell if its easy or not with womens teams. One of those Robert Morris or Presbyterian teams might be ridiculous.

With the exception of Middle Tennessee, whose been good for a few years, they are about what you would expect. Here's the schedule with last year's RPIs included (taken from the NCAA website - http://www.ncaa.com/rankings/basketball-women/d1/ncaa-womens-basketball-rpi):

Date Game 13-14 RPI
Sat., Nov. 15 vs. Wofford 340
Mon., Nov. 17 vs. Arkansas-Pine Bluff 347
Thu., Nov. 20 vs. Virginia 81
Sat., Nov. 22 at Binghamton 328
Wed., Nov. 26 vs. Presbyterian 276
Sun., Nov. 30 vs. Robert Morris 174
Sun., Dec. 7 at Middle Tennessee State 17
Wed., Dec. 10 vs. Monmouth 282
Sun., Dec. 14 at Cincinnati 134
Sat., Dec. 20 vs. Lipscomb 306
Mon., Dec. 22 at Kennesaw State 324

Here are the Big East RPI's from last year

DePaul 25
St.John's 28
Villanova 50
Creighton 66
Marquette 86
Butler 112
Seton Hall 138
Georgetown 173
Providence 247
Xavier 260

Kind of odd having two road games at 300+ RPI schools (Binghamton & Kennesaw State).

That seems to me to be a very sensible OOC sked for a program with few returning stars and nine new members of the team. Even if many of the OOC opponents may have relatively low RPI's, the key is to win all those games and get better along the way so your team can compete well in Conference. It appears that Coach Neal and his staff have worked hard to recruit in their areas of need (i.e. everywhere) and Neal's track record as a bench coach is such that the rest will follow.

Go Lady Muskies!

And I'm happy that most of the home games are on a date next to (or on the same day) as a men's game. This will help me decide which weekends to come to Cincy from Chicago. And of course, we have at DePaul and at Marquette and the Big East Tourney in Chicago. Looking forward to the season. Go Musketeers!

Sad that the trip south, FLA, won't happen. Coach was trying to set up a match with UCF in Orlando, would ahve been a great treat for us Floridians,,,, Who's up for a road trip to Kennesaw State????
