I don't like em personally. The collar is too thick and looks too much like a horsecollar. And no "X" custom shorts?
Thoughts?
EDIT: now this thread seems silly...critiquing practice jerseys. But hey its the offseason

If they keep the collar (which I'm not a fan of), I would hope they at least make the front white like the rest is.
Just looks weird with that navy, like an inverted priest.

Well, the nicest thing I can think to say about those is that at least they don't have VD on them anywhere (as far as I know).
Who is designing uniforms these days? Is the first qualification to design uniforms that you have to be legally blind?

my understanding is that it's just the same uniform with the Brazilian Flag on it?

The white uniforms look much better than the blue do. Some of that may be the white shorts mixed with the blue top too, but the collar just looks odd on top of a color.
Overall a thumbs up to the white uniforms as a possible alternate. Thumbs down to the blues.

I asked Rick Broering about them on twitter and he said they were just for Brazil.

I also prefer the white uniform over the blue.

Also, as it is written in the article itself:
Decked out in new practice uniforms bearing Brazil's flag, most of Xavier's 13 scholarship players participated in shooting drills and worked on defense throughout the first practice in the auxiliary gym.

Memo to Photographer Madison Schmidt:
A Mix of close-ups and distance shots would be desirable to get a better feeling of the uniforms/players. Not knocking the close-ups, but they all seem right in the players face, for the most part.

These are the practice unis. See this note from Mario I got awhile back:

@fleckd no major design change. We are adding the 4th black set. Other than that, no.

I saw that. I also saw it said Bluiett was getting some time at the four! Will we be seeing a four guard lineup this year? Villanova does it.

Practice? Practice? We're talking about practice (jerseys)?

Not taking sides, but there's only so much the photographer can do... sometimes the baby's just ugly. Hoping those uni's get quarantined and never make it to this continent. (Do uniforms need their own passports?)

The first time I've ever preferred the white uniform over the blue. Maybe a gray would have been better

I would like a pair of those shorts. Hopefully they will sell them down the road. The jerseys are a little out of whack.

I saw them close up. They are a meshy, practice jersey type of fabric and are less heavy-duty than the Nike Elite game jerseys. I would be surprised if any of it was produced for public sale.
