I know this has been covered a thousand times, but I'll do it again. The two fouls called on Myles were beyond criminal. Just stolen from Xavier. Grand larceny.

The charge on Chalmers going into the under 4 TO was criminal as well.

Then....we would have kept the ball? I only joke because I've had it in my head for years that we got screwed in that game. Re-watching the last 6 minutes again though, we certainly had our chances and couln't score or rebound when it counted. Looking back on it, I'm amazed at the contributions we got from freshman during that run. It reminds me of the class coming in, and I'm hoping they can develop a similar chemistry with this year's veterans.

Matta had to get Myles out of the game after that 4th foul. He was too busy bitching at the refs, and BAM...Myles picked up foul #5.

You wanna talk about criminal.

I would have thrown a chair on the floor so they stopped the game and allowed for AM to be taken out.

It was an and-1 if the call goes the other way.

I remember distinctly. He hit the layup, and like GO said it would have been an and-1 with a chance to go ahead of Duke. I was actually right behind the basket, and when I heard the whistle I thought that was going to be the call. As it turns out, they waived the basket off and called a charge.

We were on the low sideline and that play was right in front of us. I'll never forget it. I, too, thought it was an "and 1" but they called the charge.

Highway robbery for Duke.

Check out the video above. Chalmers charges at about 3:56, and didn't get a shot up. Deng actually charged and hit the layup right before that, so a case could be made that the call they got hit with was worse and Chalmers foul was probably a make up call. Like I said, I remembered this game differently as many did apparently. Again, we missed so many shots and rebounds the last 6 minutes, looking back on it I see more missed opportunity than I do reff deficiency. F Duke all the same.

I also remember changing Deng's 4th foul to someone else early in the second half.

If I'm not mistaken, I think that was the around the 8-minute mark, which was a garbage call. The charge at around the 4-minute mark was not as a bad of a call, as Chalmers lowered his shoulder as he was driving.

Toward the end of that game, we went about 6 minutes without a field goal. I just remember thinking we looked out of gas in that game in the end. Both teams really looked gassed, honestly. It was a defensive struggle.
