UC and San Diego St. Agree to Home and Home

The Bearcats will host the Aztecs in Cincinnati on 12/17/14 and Mick Cronin’s squad will travel out west to San Diego for the 2015-16 season.

The Toreros of San Diego are still available. That's also a better series than the Auburn series.

I'll take Auburn over the Toreros, but only because I don't really want either of them and figure we'll beat an SEC team. I don't recall X ever going out to play a road game on the West Coast and having it end well (I think we may have beaten Loyola Marymount in the late '90s on the road).

Also beat San Francisco out there. Forget whether it was a two-game Friday-Saturday tournament or not But it was in the 1989=90 season. And Don Nelson was personally scouting Tyrone. That I remember.

Xavier also swept both ends of a home-and-home with USF that included an appearance in their Cable Car Classic tournament back in the early 2000s as well (think it was a homecoming for Anthony Coleman).
