View Full Version : Caa: W&m 56 Vcu 54
William & Mary takes down Virginia Commonwealth in the CAA semis. Either VCU's bubble just burst...or someone else's.

Would be an injustice if VCU doesn't get in. They've had a solid year.

Probably not important, but Robert Moris also lost in their tourney semis. They were on the 2nd longest win streak [behind Davidson]. Not going to cost a bid, but quite surprising.

It's going to be tough for VCU. They do have wins at Maryland and a home win over Houston. They also have losses to Miami (Fla.) and Arkansas. But after that they only have a few more top 100 wins. They have mostly beaten bad teams. After this loss, their RPI will probably drop from 45 to the high 40's or low 50's. My guess is that they don't get in.

87, would you put VCU or UK in if you had to choose?

As much as it pains me...Kentucky has a better profile, with wins over Tennessee and Vanderbilt.

I have to go with UK. UK's late season success should make up for the early season losses.

My niece goes to VCU, so I'm kinda rooting for them to get in.

My cousin plays for W&M, so I'd love to see them pull off another upset and go dancing!
