Coming off a 41-point effort in a 104-94 win on Friday night in Lexington, Ky., (http://www.indystar.com/story/sports/high-school/2014/06/13/james-blackmon-leads-indiana-stars-win-points/10511611/) James Blackmon Jr. (Marion) scored 23 points and got plenty of help from running mate Trevon Bluiett. The 6-6 Bluiett, who won three state championships at Park Tudor, scored 25 of his game-high 32 points in the second half in front of a crowd of 6,520 fans.
"The first half I didn't have much of a flow, but coach (David Benter) told me to keep attacking the basket," Bluiett said. "I tried to work my way inside and out and try to have an impact on the defensive end."

I don't know about anyone else, but I'd just like to get this kid here. How many all star games is he going to play in ?

I know it is premature, but could Trevon be the one to threaten Byron Larkin's scoring record?

No.

MOR, whoa there. No one in this day and age is going to get 20 shots a game AND hang around for 4 years. That record is set in concrete with rebar. Never going to be surpassed.

That's kind of true, under normal circumstances.

Not unless the NBA changes their rules again in regards to when players can declare for the draft. Pete Maravich's all time record is much safer (and that was only for 3 years AND pre-3 point shot).

Hope Blueitt wasn't supposed to guarding the Snider kid who's going to Louisville.

From what I've heard there is a decent chance trevon sticks around four years.

Blueitt isn't overly athletic. There's a pretty good chance he spends 4 years in a Xavier uniform barring transfer

Hmm, I thought I heard Coach Mack was going to have a son soon, no? If so, maybe he names him Craig . . .
