As kind of a warm up for the NCAA tournament, I thought it might be fun to attempt to predict the A-10 bracket.

In case you're not familiar with the seedings, bracket is found here:

Interesting how many people think SJU is going to beat X in the A-10 tourney. I guess I'm just not as impressed with them as others. They were riding the wave of serious intangibles in Philly and they did play us tough at the Cintas - no denying that. But they have some terrible losses on their resume indicating a heavy dose of vulnerability late in the season. I think away from Hawk Hill and without the inspiration of Jameer Nelson's presence X would take them easily.

I know they rise to the occasion when they face X, but I just don't see SJU taking down X 2 out of 3 this year - not in a year when X is expected to be contending for a Final Four appearance.

I'm left to wonder about Drew's ankle... that seriously weighed on my decision to take SJ's over X.

When SJU decides they are going to play defense, they are a very hard team to beat. Martelli will have his guys ready to play some defense this week.

It's a crapshoot since we don't know just how effective Lavender will be. It's good, though, that he and Sean have worked things out.

That being said, I still think X will have a tough time winning this thing. Being a homer, though, I have to pick them.

Two rebels picked against Temple. Both picked Duquense...who didn't even make it out of the first round. The tie at the top will be broken with the next game. Chico has Charlotte, while XU95 took Mass.
The genius that I am....took Rhode Island. Whoops.

I tied with DC Muskies for 2nd. Thanks to everyone for entering!

If you got all 11 matches right, you'd have gotten the super grand prize: $1,000,000.

But a pat on the back is just as nice, right?
