So far it has been released that Macura will wear 55, London will wear 13, and now Larry Austin Jr will wear 0.

Let me be the first to predict that 55 will also be Macura's average points per game, London will average 13 rebounds and Austin will have 0 turnovers. Maybe.

You're being a bit unrealistic. 55 is likely to be Macura's 3-point shooting percentage, not his ppg avg.

Leave the rest untouched and I'll take it!

At least my XU 0 jersey has a new occupant.

Best 100 bucks I spent. Sometimes you have to pay the coin when the jersey is more meaningful.

I just automatically think of the last guy to wear 55.

"Macura's gotta hurry!"

When do they "report". I'm hearing 6/22.

I see Larry Austin Jr and ask myself if he's the son of the Cincinnati boxer. Then I realize that I am combining Tim Austin and Larry Donald. Doesn't matter, I still going to call him slugger.

I was about to say Reggie Butler, but that 55 was also a good player as well.

Deeply disappointed that no one has claimed Number 5. A Reynolds-Farr-Randolph-Abell lineup is plausible, so we could've had 1-5 on the floor.

Although I suppose we could do Austin-Reynolds-Farr-Randolph-Abell for 0-1-2-3-4 but that just doesn't seem the same.

Isn't Abell #5?

Because if Sumner picks his high school number from Detroit Country Day, your dream is still alive.

You're right! I had it in my mind he was 4.

C'mon Sumner.

Trevon Bluiett is now #5. I have no idea what number Abell is, but it was just posted on twitter that Bluiett will wear #5.

What? That he never met a shot he didn't like?

Really athletic, can get to the rim, and, yes, can shoot from everywhere.

If Macura never sees a shot he doesn't like and he posts a 56% true shooting percentage while not turning the ball over much, I'll take it!

I will take it if Macura can put up numbers like this for a few seasons.

#55
Season GP MPG PPG FG% 3FG% FT% APG RPG BPG SPG
2009-10 35 32.8 20.5 46.2 39.1 77.3 2.9 4.7 0.2 1.3

The fact that he shot 46% from the field and 39% from 3 still amazes me considering how high the level of difficulty was on all of his shots.

Sean O'Mara will wear #54. FYI.

Austin 0
Sumner 4
Bluiett 5
London 13
O'Mara 54
Macura 55

Which means the the "natural" straight flush is Reynolds-Farr-Randolph-Sumner-Bluiett. Very possible.

Now, if your house game allows the use of the 0, then you could have Austin-Reynolds-Farr-Randolph-Sumner. That seems unlikely given the need for three freshman guards.

Also intriguing is the wraparound, since 55 is the largest number permissible, which would allow O'Mara-Macura-Reynolds-Farr-Randolph (big lineup), or Macura-Reynolds-Farr-Randolph-Sumner.

Is there anyway we can get an official nike jersey with that pattern on it? Mine doesn't have it, the quality is high it just doesn't have that pattern.

I thought he was #25 last year. I believe he wore #5 for Musketeer Madness but in the media guide/photos I think he was #25

Most recent, I think it was a walk-on. Either Kevin Feeney or Johnny Mazza.

Feeney wore 13 (Mazza wore 14). Stephen Duckett wore it before that. David Young was the most recent scholarship player to wear it (2001).
