It looks like they're going to play Duke.

They are now playing at Texas, at Stanford, at Florida, have Duke on a neutral court, and are in the Puerto Rico Tip-Off.
Sheesh. You can't say they don't play anybody.

Based on their and UC's OOC schedule, it looks like the better teams in the AAC are really bracing themselves for how bad some of the additions to the conference are going to be next year.

Apparently UConn is talking with Kansas, Kentucky and Nova as well.

Which I really feel should scare some of the potentially good teams in the Big East if their OOC schedule is bad, namely Xavier, because the AAC I think will be better than the Big East next year.

UConn will still be good but UC will not be that good next year. They lose their only only offensive threat in kilpatrick and their best defensive player in jackson. Those 2 guys carried that team. Caupain and Johnson should help offensively but theres no one else on that team.

Looking at the incoming classes for next year I would say the Big East should be better than the AAC. The Big East has 5 teams in the top 25 recruiting classes (Xavier, G'Town, Seton Hall Marquette and Providence). The AAC has 1 (SMU).

They lose their best defender, but it's not Jackson.
Also, I would be shocked if they are not a top 40-50 Kenpom team that's in the hunt for a tourney bid come March.

There's no way Marquette is still a top 25 class.

The class is. The players just aren't going to Marquette anymore.

I think UConn will be pretty good.
I think Memphis will start off highly ranked for no real reason, and that at no point in the season will they actually be as good as their ranking.
I'm not sure about UC, but I think they'll at least end up inside the bubble.
SMU should be really good.
I don't know if Temple will stop sucking. They've had good teams, but not last year.
There is a huge drop off after that. East Carolina may be the next best team. I'd say Tulsa would be alright, but they've hired Frank Haith, so I guess you can forget about that.
What a bizarre league. The quality of teams ranges from the defending national champs, to Houston and UCF. It's more C-USA than C-USA. It's a cluster of teams from random parts of the country that have nothing to do with one another. It's the epitome of a conference that has been wrecked by realignment. And now, Frank Haith is a part of it.

Don't forget that Tulsa is paying him over 1 million a year. TULSA....

I'd be shocked if UC is in the tournament next season. They have NIT written all over them.

who do you say is their best defender? Rubles? Kilpatrick? Jackson was a force inside and blocked almost everything that came near him.

Rubles and it's not even really that close.
Guy couldn't score for shit, but there not many guys around the country that can guard the 1-4 (and sometimes 5) which is what he did this year.

Correct. Lee left Temple and I believe he is headed to Columbus.
